Weeks 1–3 · Patterns
The handful that cover most questions.
Four programs of 8 to 12 weeks, built around timed mock interviews every week.
The code matters less than the process around it. We work on clarifying the question before starting, narrating your reasoning, choosing a workable approach rather than the perfect one, stating complexity honestly, and recovering out loud when you hit a wall — which interviewers specifically watch for.
The handful that cover most questions.
Thinking out loud without rambling.
Forty-five minutes, watched.
Getting unstuck in front of someone.
A repeatable way to open any design question.
Storage, caching, queues and when each earns its place.
Defending a choice without overclaiming.
Full design rounds, reviewed.
Design rounds reward structured thinking over memorized architectures. We work on gathering requirements, making rough estimates out loud, sketching components, and discussing trade-offs honestly — including admitting what you don't know, which lands far better than bluffing.
Behavioral rounds sink more candidates than coding does. We build a set of real stories from your experience, structure them so the outcome is clear, and rehearse the follow-up questions — especially the conflict and failure ones, where vague answers are obvious.
Six stories worth telling.
Situation, action, outcome, in two minutes.
The second and third question.
Conflict, failure and gaps.
Several processes, timed to land together.
Scoping them before they scope you.
Questions to ask, and how to buy time.
The end of a search has its own problems: overlapping timelines, take-homes that eat weekends, and an offer you have four days to answer. We plan the process, scope take-homes sensibly, and prepare the compensation conversation — though contracts and legal questions go to an attorney.
Twenty minutes, one problem, and honest feedback on how you came across.
